Vampire King's Beloved Princess

The party : Part Two

            (Augusta Pov) 

      At 6:30 pm Sarah told me that we would be getting ready for the party together in her room, then she went straight to our closet to pick my outfit. I just shrugged my shoulders and let her do her thing, she chose a shiny silver top and a black knee length skirt with a slit in the thigh and black heels for me to wear. She then told me to follow her to her room so she could do my hair and and make-up, when we got to her room she sat me down in front of her vanity and said, "I am going to do your hair first, then your make-up and then you can get changed." I just nodded my head and replied, "Okay." We talked about what kind of hairstyle to go with for a few minutes before deciding to curl it and pin it back on one side. She was meticulous with the styling of my hair, and I absolutely loved the end result. When she was done with my hair she turned me around in the chair and said, "Now on to your make-up, you have really good skin so I'm thinking maybe just some eye-shadow, eye liner, mascara and a tinted lip gloss." I responded, "Sounds good, I'm trusting you here." Sarah Chuckled and replied, "Don't worry, you're in good hands." 

       She opened some drawers in her vanity and pulled out a couple bags of make-up searching for the the items she would be using for my look tonight. When she had found the perfect eye-shadow, a sparkly silver color that went well with my shirt, she carefully applied it to my eye lids. Then she quickly and efficiently lined my eyes with a black eye-liner. Next she used a bit of mascara on my lashes, and lastly she applied a shiny pink tinted lip gloss to my lips. When she was done she turned me around to face the mirror so I could see how it turned out. She did a really good job, I turned to her and said, "Sarah, you did amazing work. I love it!" She laughed and replied, "I told you, you were in good hands, now you can change your clothes in my bathroom then you can help me choose my outfit." I laughed and said, "Okay." before grabbing my clothes and going into her bathroom to change. I carefully changed my clothes so I would not mess up my hair and make-up, then I grabbed the clothes I was wearing earlier, folded them neatly and sat them aside unit Sarah was finished getting ready. 

      Nearly half an hour later she finally chose a hot pink shimmery top and a black mini skirt matched with black heels. When that was decided she did her hair in a braided half up half down style, then quickly and precisely did her make-up. She chose sparkly pink eye-shadow, black eyeliner, mascara, blush and hot pink lipstick. When she was done I told her I was going to take my clothes to my and James' room and put on some jewelry and get my stuff. She said, "Okay, I'll meet you guys down stairs at 8." I got to our room and opened the door and went straight to the hamper to put my clothes. The bathroom door opened and James came out wearing a White shirt, black jacket, dark blue jeans and black sneakers. His hair was slightly messy in a sexy way, and I nearly drooled at the sight. He looked over and smiled at me before saying, " You look amazing baby, but you always look amazing to me." I laughed and replied, " You are so cheesy, but I love it. You look pretty good yourself by the way." He came over to me and pulled me into his arms before kissing me.

            (James Pov) 

        When I looked over and saw Augusta my mouth went dry, she looks absolutely stunning. She always looks gorgeous to me and I said so, she made a comment about me being cheesy and that she loves is then she said that I looked good too and I couldn't take it anymore. I pulled her into my arms and kissed her, she kissed me back for a few seconds then she pulled away and said, "Sarah is going to be mad if you mess up my make-up." I chuckled and released her reluctantly, she went over to her jewelry box on the dresser and pulled our a pair of silver hoops and a simple silver necklace. She put them on before turning to me and saying, "Sarah said she would meet us downstairs at 8, she was almost ready when I left her room." I smiled at her and said, "I'm glad you two have been getting along, she may be my annoying little sister most of the time but she is still important to me." She chuckled and replied, "I know, you can tell just by watching how you interact with each other. You might tease each other like most siblings do but there is a lot of love there." We chatted for a bit before going to meet Sarah downstairs so we could leave for the party. 

      Surprisingly Sarah was ready and waiting for us when we got there, she is usually late to most things. She smiled when she saw us and said, "There you are, you guys ready to go?" I shook my head and replied, "You know you are the one who is usually late, and yes we are ready to go." We went outside to my car and got in, Augusta in the front with me and Sarah sitting in the back seat. Luckily Adam lives pretty close by so it only took us about fifteen minutes to get there. I found a decent parking spot a little bit down the street from his house, I parked the car, got out and went around to the passenger side to open Augusta's door for her. She smiled up at me after getting out of the car, I bent down and placed a gentle kiss on her lips. I pulled back when I heard Sarah say, "Come on James don't ruin her make-up before we even get to the party." I chuckled at that before taking Augusta's hand in mine and leading them to the front door, I rang the door bell and a few seconds later Adam opened the door. He smiled and said, "Hey James, glad you could make it." He moved back from the door to let  us in and I introduced him to Augusta, he shook her hand and said, "It's very nice to meet you Augusta, I am happy that you and James have found each other." Augusta smiled at him and replied, "It's nice to meet you too, and I am glad we found each other as well." 

      Adam led us into the living room where a bunch of people were drinking and dancing to the music, from the living room he led us into the back yard where there were people playing beer pong and a few people sitting on the grass drinking and chatting. Sarah said, "Ooh I'm gonna play beer pong." She walked away then Adam turned to us and said, "I'm gonna grab you two some drinks, I'll be right back." He walked away to get the drinks and I pulled Augusta into my arms, she looked up at me with a smile on her beautiful face and I fell even more in love with  her which I didn't even know was possible. Adam came back over a few seconds later and handed us each a drink, we sipped our drinks and talked for awhile before Adam excused himself to go mingle with some more of his guests. Augusta and I decided to go back into the living room to dance together. I love the feeling of having her in my arms, she is always so soft and warm. Plus she smells amazing, we sway to the music with my arms around her waist and her arms around my neck. It was like we were the only two people in the room, my focus was on her and only her. 

               (Augusta Pov)  

      James and I danced for awhile then we decided to go back outside and see how Sarah was doing playing beer pong. When we got to where they were playing beer pong we saw Sarah was in her element and was kicking ass, and of course she and her team mate won the game. When the game was over Sarah came over to us and said, "That was almost too easy." I laughed at that while James just rolled his eyes at his little sister. We were starting to get hungry so we went into the living room to where the snacks were laid out on tables. We sat down and snacked on crackers, salami and cheese and talked for a bit then we joined the people dancing after having another drink. After awhile of dancing I was starting to feel kind of hot, I went on my tip toes and told James that I was feeling hot so I needed some fresh air. I told him he could keep dancing if he wanted to but he said he wanted to go outside with me because he doesn't like us being apart. I smiled as he wrapped his arm around my waist and led me outside, we sat down on the grass and he pulled me into his arms so I was laying against his chest.  

       I closed my eyes and concentrated on the feeling of being in his arms and his scent filling my nose creating a warm feeling in my chest. He put his lips against my ear and asked, "You feeling better, baby?" I smiled and opened my eyes before replying, "Yeah, I just got a little over heated. I feels nice out here with the breeze." He chuckled before saying, "Okay baby, we can stay out here as long as you want. As long as I'm with you I'm happy." Hearing him say that made the warm feeling in my chest expand and fill my whole body. I felt the same way, it's like as long as I had him nothing else matters. I leaned my head back so I could look up at him and said, "I love you." He smiled down at me and replied, "I love you too baby." Then he cupped my face in his hands and kissed me. The kiss started off gentle but quickly got more passionate, I pulled back from the kiss when I heard someone laugh right next to us. I looked up to see Adam standing in front of us with a smile on his face, "I was just coming over to see how you guys were doing but it looks like you are doing just fine." I blushed and hid my face against James' chest making him chuckle, Adam sat next to us and we talked for a while. He was telling me funny stories about James and some slightly embarrassing ones too. 

      A few minutes later Sarah came over to join us and she started to tell us some of her embarrassing about James. He started pouting because of the teasing so I wrapped my arms around him and gave him a reassuring squeeze. He held me closer and bent forward to kiss the top of my head causing Adam and Sarah to "Awww" James then started telling embarrassing stories about both Adam and Sarah from the past. We laughed and joked around for a bit before Adam said, "So Augusta why don't you tell us something about you since you know know our most embarrassing stories." I thought about it for a second before I said, "Okay, you want to know something embarrassing, when I was 8 my older brother convinced me that if a woman swallows a watermelon seed she will grow a baby in her belly and that's where babies came from. So one day I had gotten my hands on a watermelon seed and put it in my mom's drink when she wasn't looking, she went to take a drink when she noticed the seed in the cup and asked who put it in there. So I confessed that it was me and she asked me why I did that so I told her I wanted a little brother or sister, she looked so confused until I told her what Alex told me about where babies came from Then she started laughing and then Alex started laughing and at the time I didn't know what was so funny so I ended up getting mad and walking away with them still laughing." They were quiet for a second then all three of them burst out laughing and I couldn't help but join in.
