Vampire King's Beloved Princess

Waking Up

                (Augusta Pov)

          I woke up with a groan, my head was pounding and I tried to remember what happened. The last thing I remembered I was with a couple of my guards at a lake on the east side of our territory, I always went to that lake when I wanted to be by myself and relax but of course my brother Alex always made me take a few guards with me when going anywhere. Even though I was trained to fight and was damn good at it too, we were by the lake and I was laying on the grass with my eyes closed soaking up the sun when I heard a scream not far from me. My eyes shot open and I quickly got to my feet I was surrounded by demons and my guards were on the ground dead. I am a good fighter but there were too many demons for me to fight off alone, and then everything went black.

       I sat up to look at my surroundings, I was in a dungeon cell laying on an old mattress on a metal bed on one side of the cell. I scrunched up my nose the cell smelled like a mix of pee, blood, and feces I wanted to puke but I was able to stop myself. Just then a deep voice from outside the cell said, "I see you have finally awaken princess." I looked at the demon and calmly said, "Where am I and what do you want." He let out a creepy laugh before replying, "You are in our dungeon obviously and as for what I want, next week there is going to be an underground auction and you are going to be sold to the highest bidder and before you ask why I'll tell you, revenge is the reason your parents killed mine." I stood up and walked closer to the cell door and asked, "May I know your name?" He chuckled and replied, "I don't see why that matters but my name is Marcus Drayven, and now if you excuse me I'll take my leave someone will be down to bring you breakfast in the morning if. I want to get the most money I can for you so we have to make sure you stay in good health." He let out another creepy laugh before turning and walking away.

     I smiled to myself I guess Marcus doesn't know I have the power of astral projection, I closed my eyes and astral projected into my brother's office where he spends most of his time. I was right Alex was at his desk, head down with his hair sticking out in different directions. I walked over to his desk and said, "Alex wake up!" He jolted up from the desk and looked around before looking at my astral projected self, his eyes widened and he said, "Augusta where are you, we found Kyle and Michael's bodies by the lake I have been searching for you all day." Kyle and Michael were the guards that were scheduled to look after me today. I sighed and said, "I don't really don't know where I am, I just know I am in a dungeon somewhere I was taken by some demon named Marcus Drayven he said our parents killed his and he wanted revenge so he kidnapped me and is planning to sell me at some underground auction next week." Alex looked pissed his face was red and his eyes were glowing, He looked at me and said, "I promise you little sister, I will find away to get you back."

    I looked at my brother and gave him a reassuring smile before saying, "I believe you brother, don't worry I'm okay he wont hurt me because he needs me in good shape for the auction." He nodded then rubbed the back of his neck, he lifted his head and said, " I think I might know some people who can help us, mom and dad were friends with the former vampire king and queen they might be able to help, I'll call them in the morning." I smiled before replying, "Okay brother, I should go now can't stay in this form for much longer." Alex gave me a sad smile, took a breath then said, "See you soon sister." I closed my eyes and willed myself back into my body. My body was feeling drained so I lay down on the bed and prayed that I would be able to get out of this situation before letting myself drift to sleep. 

              (Alex's Pov)

            The next morning...

       I smiled as I found the number I was looking for, former vampire king and queen Henry and Savannah Price's phone number they were good friends of my parents so I was hopeful that they would be willing to help me save my sister. I dialed the number and waited for them to answer the call, a few seconds later a man picked up the phone saying, "Henry Price speaking, who is this?" I cleared my throat and replied, "Hello sir, my name is Alex Montgomery you were friends with my parents Roberto and Daniella Montgomery." There was a gasp on the other end of the line before Henry said, "Yes, my Beloved and I were very close with your parents they were great people and we were deeply saddened to hear about their passing, what can I do for you Alex?" I took a deep breath before explaining the situation to him and telling him everything Augusta had told me. He was silent for a second then he said, "We will do everything we can to help you I will personally put my son the current vampire king on the case we will find your sister, is there anyway you can come here to the castle so we can sit down and come up with a plan?" I sighed in relief, they were going to help us. "Thank you very much sir, yes I can be there by tomorrow if that works for you." Henry responded, "Yes, that works just fine and don't worry son we will get your sister back." I thanked him again before ending the call then I went  down stairs to inform my staff and palace guards that I would be leaving to go to the vampire kingdom for a meeting to help me get my sister back.

     I went up to my room to pack anything I might need since I didn't know how long I would be staying until we find my sister. When I was finished I went outside and got in my car to start my journey to the vampire kingdom, if I wanted to be there by the next day I would have to leave now. I suddenly felt calm, I had no doubt that we would save my sister. I didn't know why but for some reason I just knew that everything would work out and we would get her back safe. I turned on the radio to clear my mind and focused on driving, if I wanted to be there in time I would have to drive all night with out stopping but that was no problem for me. Nothing would stop me from finding my little sister and making sure that she was not harmed in anyway, she has always been more then just a sister to me she was also my best friend and I didn't know what I would do without her.
