Clara's heart sank, but she refused to give up. "Please, just give me a chance. I'll do anything to get my art out there. I'll work with you to make it more commercial, I'll take feedback, I'll—" The dealer raised a hand, interrupting her pleading. "Clara, we appreciate your enthusiasm, but we can't take on every struggling artist who walks through our door. You need to understand that the art world is tough, and only the best make it."
