Chapter 5This time he’d had to call Karensky. One of the riding mowers wouldn’t start. The company had several of those for use on larger pieces of property, like the Grant place. Joe had exhausted his limited repertory of things to check and the damned thing wouldn’t fire up. So he’d called Jeff. When the mechanic showed up later that morning, Joe pointed out the offending machine and left him to it, returning to his computer, where he was ordering supplies online. Five minutes or so later, Jeff called out, “Hey, Joe, found your problem.
