Why is this happening now? Ten more minutes and we could have finished the mating process. But no, someone just had to attack tonight.
“Who is attacking?” I yelled through the door while I grabbed some sweats and a sweater for us.
“Rogues, Alpha. They came out of nowhere.” Said the young warrior. Well at least it is not Alester, I thought to myself.
“Alright, get all the civilians in the safe house. Your Luna and I will take care of it.” I ordered
“Yes, Alpha.” He replied. I could hear him leaving, I walked back over to the bed. " Darling, we have to go downstairs to take care of this. I will do most of the work since you don't know how to use your powers yet. Just stay behind me and stay hidden. They may be here for you." I said trying to hide my unease.
