Sooner than expected 3 border guards ran up to us. The pups were instantly scared. They started whimpering and trembling like last time. They clung to me, and all tried to hide behind me. I used that and acted protective of the pups.
“Please help us. We escaped from a dungeon somewhere in the middle of nowhere. We have been running for two days.” I said as panicky as possible.
“It’s okay. Just follow us to the guard house.” One said with his hands up in a soothing manner.
