Sandra's POV
"I really appreciate what you did for me." I said kissing Serafino on the lips.
"It's your birthday today." He said smirking. I raised an eyebrow.
"Duh!" I laughed, but his reaction turned from smirking to a serious face.
"Little mate." He pulled me by my waist, and our chests were pushed against each other. Our lips inches apart, his blue eyes gazing in my eyes.
"What's wrong?" I whispered.
"You deserve this." He took a deep breath. "I uhm.." his ears turned pink and I had to widen my eyes and almost pinch myself to believe what is happening.
"You what?" I put a hand on his cheek, and I heard his sharp intake of breath. Sparks flew everywhere and I smiled.
"I love you." He whispered.
Time stopped, my heart beat increased and my mouth formed an 'o' shape.
