“At least hear him out honey” says mom to me.

“Rochelle, princess do you think your uncle would jeopardize your safety.” He asks.

“No” I reply.

“Do you trust me” he asks further.

Yes. Wi… with my life” I say.

He grins at that “So it is settled than. We are going to organize a party with some clients and associates”

“Uncle. You.. are no… not fair. You tric… tricked with th.. the trust ques.. question” I say finally completing a long sentence. I pout looking at them.

My mom and uncle come and wrap me in their arms. I know they are feeling happing seeing me talk such a long sentence. In return I do the same and move back. Giving my forehead a kiss my mom smiles at me blinking back her tears. I give her a warm smile.

“Everything is fair princess if your intention is right.” Uncle gives me mischievous smile just to lighten the mood.

“Fine” I say and mom lets out a chuckle at that.

“Honey you’re not going to win with him”

“Mama” I whined.

“Okay okay no more teasing.”

After that we all proceed to have lunch. Once done I move and walk out of the villa towards the garden area to have fresh air. I sit in the shade just enjoying the afternoon breeze. Around half n hour later I walk in and go straight; climbing the stairs I walk down the hallway and reach my room. I don’t even want to think about the upcoming party because I don’t want to panic.

I still remember the party which they had organized two years back. As I had phobia to be around people I had attended the party just for ten minutes and had walked out of there towards my room.

My mom and uncle knew me well so they did not stop me from going. After getting fresh I was about to lie down when I see someone entering my room. As it was dark I did not see the face. Only moon light coming from the window was the only light in the room.

I start feeling nervous, my heartbeat accelerating. I don’t know why but I have a bad feeling about this.I don’t know no one saw that guy following my=e or entering my room unnoticed, because I am always guarded by my uncles men. But at the party it was not the as. The guy had come and tried to attack me.

I could not even shout because I was having panic attacks. When he was trying to force himself on me I don’t know how I got the strength but I took the lamp which was there on my bedside table and smash it in his head.

“My mom and Uncle Luca somehow knew that I was in some kind of trouble and they rushed in. My mom was shocked seeing me in the state. I was barely able to speak or say something. That was the first time I had seen uncle Luca lose his control. If it was not for mom stopping him he would have murdered the guy for sure. But thank god it did not lead to that.

I still shudder at the memory. After that they barely organized any party. Even if they did, they made sure to keep guards around all time till the party is over. And I don’t usually attend parties. It’s been one whole week. Now my exams have started and my full concentration is on them. I don’t pay attention to the arrangements going on in the house. I know they are preparing for my birthday party.

I miss my best friend. He is out due to some business work. If he would have been here he would have supported me. He is Uncle Lucas only son and my only friend other than Natalie that is. I care for him a lot its vice versa from his side as well. I hope he returns soon.

Even Natalie is out on the trip with her parents. She is the Mischievous in all three of us. she always likes to trouble Ace. He tries to act like he is angry but grins it off later. I am really lucky to have all these people around me who not only cares for me but also helps me in all the situations.

What else could one ask ask for in life where i have a beautiful mama, protective uncle and two loving and caring Best friends. Even though i am home schooled i am perfectly happy with the way my life is turning. I could not ask for more.

I hope that these two comes home soon. life is bearable and best with them around. I don't think about what happened with me. i try to open up so that they will be happy that i am at least trying.

The whole week passes by me giving exams and concentrating on scoring good numbers. Finally the day has come when I will be turning eighteenth. Uncle Luca has not spared anything in organizing this party. He always tells that I am the daughter he always wanted.

He is always been there for me and mom. He provided for us when we had no one. He took us in and gave u shelter. We will always be thankful for hi generosity.

I get ready in my blue color off shoulder gown which was sent by my mom. My makeup artist did my makeup. She was given instructions by my mom so I did not need to worry about her over doing my makeup.

Once done I wear my stud earrings and diamond bracelet matching it with a pendant chain around my neck. When I was checking everything is in order I hear a voice. Turning around I see and a shock gasp escaped my lips. Within seconds I am on my feet and start moving towards him. Once I am close enough I hug him by wrapping my arms around him.
