Reece POV
My smile slips of my face as soon as little Mike asks me a very innocent question which left me tongue tied.
"Where is beautiful aunt?" He questions looking up at me with an innocent expression on his face. For a minute there I did not know what to tell him.
"Uncle Reece, what happened?" He asks me.
Gathering up the courage to speak and not show how it affects me, knowing that i am the reason my mate is not here with me makes me all sorts of despair.
"She will come later mike" i give him a soft smile.
"Oh" sticking his lips out, he frowns "oh" giving me a nod he asks another question "will she like me when she comes"
"She will love you" i give him a buss on the forehead.
After he starts wriggling in my arms indicating to be left down. I let him down and watch as he left
