Dominic was indeed tired, and for that reason didn’t think too clearly about where this could be leading. The idea of being able to relax, take off his shoes, was appealing to him. This guy obviously had money, and he wouldn’t be asked to split the bill. The idea of a great meal instead of the relatively simple pizza margherita of the night before suited him just fine. Carter hailed a cab, and they were at the hotel in about ten minutes.
