“Guys, we nearly forgot to tell you what happened back home.” mom says. “We tried to contact the Goddess and the Fates at the temple, but they never came.” I say. “So, we agreed to try and reach Helios, and he appeared.” Leah says, and we proceed to tell them exactly what happened.
“Do you think Cade could have the Fates captive too? That could be why we couldn’t reach them.” aunty Dakota says. “How? They see everything, don’t they? I don’t like this one bit. I have a very bad feeling that they are a part of this somehow,” Grandma says.
“Love, you know they always try to help us. They could be in danger too, and if they are, we have to save them. Don’t let your dislike of them cloud your judgment.” Grandpa says, and grandma huffs and nods.
“Fine, let’s get going.” She says
