Amara’s POV I closed my eyes and tried to focus on Dakota. I can’t see anything, nothing. It’s like she doesn’t have a future, which makes no sense. When I checked earlier, I could still see the original vision I had of her and Thomas. The only problems she is supposed to have are jealous women that are obsessed with Thomas. But she will handle that like a pro. There is no thread that shows a kidnapping. I concentrate and try and reach out to the Fates, but get no response. I reached out to Mamo and got nothing. f**k! “Calm down babe. We can do this. Just focus.” Artemis tells me and I try. I try and try, but I see nothing. Damn it, what is going on? “Maybe we need to take a break,” Artemis says, and I reluctantly agree. “I can’t see anything; I don’t understand what’s going on.” I say
