As soon as Marcel mentioned poison, I mind linked Cade to come with the antidote. He keeps it in a magical satchel he always has. I saw Marcel close his eyes and I held him as tight as I could. I know he is in pain, and I f*****g hate it.
Cade comes and gives him the antidote and I hold him while we wait for it to work. “What happened?” Cade asks me. “We were about to step through a portal to come to you, when someone stabbed him from behind. I killed him, but then Marcel said he could feel it was the same poison Yami used.” I said.
