Elijah’s POV
I hold her close, as I steady my breathing. “I think you need a nice soak in the tub to help with the pain.” I say, and she looks up at me and nods. “I think that is a good idea, but only if you join me.” She says and I chuckle.
“Of course I will join you. I am not letting you out of my sight.” I said and got up and helped her up, and carried her to the bathroom. “You don’t have to carry me, you know,” she said, giggling. I put her down on the floor, and let go of her, but stayed close. I saw her legs start to shake and her knees buckle. I grabbed hold of her and chuckled.
