Ryker I open the door late Friday afternoon and hear Ali humming to something. Stepping into the kitchen area, I see her stirring what smells distinctly like spaghetti. Her earbuds are in and she hasn't even heard me. She looks happy and I smile watching her. She's my home. I've never felt it with anyone else. I step closer quietly and wrap my hands around her waist. "Hi baby. You didn't even hear me come in." Normally I'd fuss at her for being completely unaware someone was in the apartment.
