Nandini's pov 

I was sitting in my room awake reading pride and prejudice.  I was not able to sleep that's when my phone rang indicating someone is calling. I took my phone from the night stand and seeing the caller ID I smiled widely. Manik was calling. 

Hello

Nandini come out.

kyu?? 

sawal mat karo bas fatafat aao. Jacket aur shoes pehena. 

thike, ayi. Five minutes. 

OK I'll see you downstairs in parking lot. 

I got ready wearing a white top and black blazer along with denim jeans and a bag along with black and white heels. I went down taking my phone, cash and card in my bag. I saw manik dressed in a white shirt along with black jacket and denim jeans. I smiled at him. He returned it and soon we left on his bike. 

"Nandini you know about Mumbai's night life?" He asked and I nodded no then I realized he wasn't facing me so I said it verbally. 

"No??"

"Alright today I'll show you!" And soon with that said we were on the roads of Mumbai when he's came to a stop. He took me in a old building. There was music, people dancing that's it. We both were dancing but I got lost in my dancing later when I turned to look at him he was missing. I looked around thats when I heard his voice. I smiled and turned around coming face to face with him.

He smiled at me and started singing and dancing with a lot of guys copying his steps. He sings pretty well. I was impressed and just continued admiring him as he danced with those guys carefree.

I continued singing the lyrics smiling at him. He turned around at my voice shocked. He then smirked and raised his eyebrow as he didn't know I was good at singing. As I sang he moved towards me.

He continued while twirling me around and pulling me to him. We danced together jumping about. He and I took a lot of pictures when his friend was singing.

He suddenly pulled me and turned me to face him. He kissed me on the forehead and just continued singing and we started dancing crazily with everyone when someone sprayed alcohol on everyone. We just shrugged it off and continued dancing.

I smiled we were having a wonderful time when suddenly around 3 he pulled me out. All were leaving but then the fun wasn't over.

It started raining. It was not drizzling or something but pouring and that too heavily.

I was playing with the rain jumping about since I was high in love when I felt his arms slip around my waist. 

We were slowing dancing when he started singing.

We did a little bit of fast dancing. He was an incredible dancer that's what I could say. He did some crazy dance moves while I could just admire him.

I then continued without breaking our eye contact and starting intently in his eyes.

Now it was my turn so I seductively walked towards him and traced my finger on his face while singing.

He continued along with me. This seducing game was becoming more fun. He pulled me and kissed me on cheek which took me by surprise. I was blushing while staring at him wide-eyed, he just winked at me causing me to blush more.

We did fast dancing but very close when suddenly he left. I was shocked, surprised but most of all I felt hurt. I was on the verge of tears when I heard him from behind me. He came and stood in front of me.

He caressed my check and wiped the traitor tears that unknowing escaped. He nodded a no and pulled my lips up telling me to smile. I smiled and then continued happily.

We continued with dancing from where he left. But this wasn't fast. We were dancing slow, close and are noses were almost touching.

I continued I don't know when I was just staring at him.

We both sang looking intently in each others eyes. Our arms linked and breaths mingled.

We finished and that's when he pulled me to him. I never realised what we were doing. Everything was hazy. The dancing had led to this. Me in his arms while he stared at me intently with his dark brown eyes. He slowly pulled me closer and kissed my forehead. I closed my eyes as he continued with the kisses on my face. He kissed my eyes, nose, cheeks softly. As he was going to kiss me we were interrupted by lights and a truck's horn brought us to reality. We moved away from each other slowly as the moment was ruined. My first almost kiss.

The rain stopped eventually. I was blushing like hell for what happened between us earlier. Like seriously we were about to kiss. 

We left from there to home since tomorrow was our engagement we still had to look good for it. By the time we reached we were dry. I got down removing the helmet, my hair still dam. 

I smiled at him.

See you tomorrow. I kissed him on the cheek and he on my forehead ❤❤❤.We both left to our own flats. 

I sneaked in slowly and went to my room. As I took a bath and changed into my night suit I heard my phone beep. It was a notification from my Netflix account. I ingnored it and looked at our pictures. They were such goofy pictures. Me and him smiling, making funny faces, him kissing my cheek or my head or just looking at me. The pictures were too good. I smiled and also blushed looking at some of them. I made the picture where he kissed my forehead as my wallpaper. I was just going to keep it aside when I got a notification. 

Phone conversation: 

Hubby: hey

Nandini: hi

Hubby: stop staring at our pictures and go to sleep and take medicine for cold. 

Nandini: I wasn't staring and even you take medicine and sleep. 

Hubby: yes mam. Goodnight. Sleep well with my dreams. Xx. 

Nandini: goodnight. ❤❤❤.

After keeping my phone aside on the side table I drifted to my dream world.

Manik's pov

I smiled reading her message. This day was really special to the both of us. Tomorrow is our engagement. Many people asked us why we stay in a flat when I'm a billionaire owning businesses apart from Malhotra Empire. My answer was simple. This is the place I lived from birth. But now this changes as we are shifting next week along with nandini's family to our mansions. I'm happy as they are side by side so I can meet her when ever I did like. Now enough I need to sleep after all it's my engagement tomorrow.
