Bonus Chapter : first meet

Manik's POV: 

I came home tired from work at office. I walked in and literally fell on the couch and relaxed myself when I felt someone's touch on my shoulder. I opened my eyes only to find mom standing behind me holding a tray with a glass filled with water on it. I smiled tiredly at her and took the glass gulping all the water in a go. Mom sat down next to me and I laid my head in her lap wanting her comfort and warmth. 

An hour later: 

We were having dinner when dad announced: Manik tomorrow we are going to see Nandini so I want you to take a leave tomorrow. 

I merely nodded my head. He smiled and we continued having chole puri. After dinner I went directly to my room and locked the door. I went to deep sleep not having the energy to stay awake anymore.

Next day: 

I got up when I felt mom's hand on my shoulder. I got up and kissed her cheek and went to get ready. I wore a formal three piece black Armani suit and moved out to find Mukti sitting in a kurta patiala looking so cute. My baby sis. I smiled at her as she grinned at me and literally dragged me along with her to the dining room. I smiled when I saw dad sitting on his seat as usual reading newspaper. I just then got a call from my p.a. Aman. 

Hello I said as he spoke. 

Aman: good morning sir. I'm sorry but there is a problem. 

What do you mean by problem. I screamed and I could feel his fear. God. I'm having a headache now. 

Aman: sir actually the new dealers are wanting a meeting today only and are not ready to reschedule it. It tried a lot sir but you know it's your dream project. You please come I've told them you'll give only an hour to the meeting. 

I finally smirked. This is the reason I hired him. He knew how I wanted stuff to happen. 

Good I'll be there. But not more than a hour Aman. I said sternly. 

Yes sir. He said and then I cut the call. I guess I need to wait before seeing Nandini murthy. 

I looked up from my phone and found dad looking at me with a questioning look. 

Dad actually we have the new dealers wanting a meeting today. And you know it's a big one. Just give me two hours please I'll be back. 

He smiled at me and patted my back and said: go son and bring me sweets when you come back with the deal and my smirk on your face. Just then we both smirked and then started laughing. I got up and left for office. 

After two hours the meeting got over. Finally. I immediately packed up and went home not wanting to face mom's angry glares. I reached just in time and got ready in a suit yet again. 

Just as I finished setting my hair mom came in to call me and soon we left to meet the murthy family. 

Ok, we've been here for an hour an I haven't seen Nandini yet. I got restless. I don't know why but yeah whatever. was waiting for Nandini to come out. Thanks to mom that they brought her out. When she came out my jaw dropped seeing her. She was beautiful. So innocent. So pure. I knew that I wanted her to be mine. Only mine. My angel. She was blushing. She was wearing a velvet blue saree and was just looking breath taking. I am not a fan of traditional wear that much but when she wore it she looked very pretty that I couldn't take my eyes of her. 

Mukti who was next to hit on my arm getting me out of my trance. That's when I realise everyone is staring at me and she's just blushing.

Dad cleared his throat and said: I guess we should let them talk. Kyu bhabhiji. 

Meera: why not. 

I love you Aunty. I told in mind. I was really looking forward to have a talk with my angel. 

Meera: take him to your room Nandini. 

We both got up and left. We came to her room. I was kind off surprised. Her room wasn't girly. I mean it was really breathtaking. She had a whole wall covered with photo frames of her since childhood till now. 

I somehow knew she wouldn't speak until I did so I took the honour of starting our conversation. 

Hey. 

Hi. 

She was blushing I knew that somehow. I gave her a bright smile and I wanted her to be comfortable around me so I asked her if she'd like to play 21 questions. She agreed and we started. 

After half and hour: 

I knew everything about her. My angel was very innocent and I literally awed like a girl. She was my sweet, small angel. All mine. Her eyes were shining when she spoke about her carrier as a doctor. How she did her first surgery, everything. I told her about myself, likes, dislikes everything. 

Soon her friend and my bestie alya popped her head in and said they were waiting for us to come out. I went out and they started rushing at us asking question after question. I smirked and said yes and all my innocent angel do was blush. Alya answered on my angel's behalf and I was happy that my friend had such a good bonding with my angel. 

I knew my mom was impatient but my angel's mom too. They squealed and then fed me and Nandini payasam. I smiled at them and soon the called the pandit and decided the dates. She's gonna be mine in a month. Just a whole month that is fifteen days away.. my girl in fifteen days. I was happy but sad for my angel. I knew she had to leave her parents so soon. 

The pandit left and Cabir came back as they sat down again discussing.
