After the group hug all went to Malhotra flat and caught up with each other on how life was going on. 

Abhi then secretly texted Manik and both went to Manan's room. And to their luck nobody noticed it. Even the genius Cupid Detective Kabir Dhawan whose eyes missed nothing. 

Manik: what is the matter Abhi. Everything is fine right?? 

Abhimanyu: Manik Harshad is back from jail and is planning to hurt Nandini. 

Manik got hyper listening to this. 

Manik: how dare he! Abhimanyu I'm gonna kill him. That bastard. He's having another thing coming if he thinks he can harm what's mine. Nandini is only mine. 

Abhimanyu calmed him down and said: Manik relax we will plot something against him. He cannot succeed it's us he's messing with. 

Manik: but how do u know that he's planning against us? That of all my Nandini. My wife. 

Abhimanyu: I was done with security check and when a man by mistake spilled coffee on my shirt. To clean it I went to the washroom when I overheard a man take your name so I hid and followed him and heard "the conversation". Then he cut the call and walked out. After he left I came out and went so that time he travelled to India in the same flight as me. But he was at a very far distance. 

Manik nodded and both made a plan and decided not to tell the others. 

Then they walked out and found everyone busy and even the other boys didn't notice. As they came back and settled Nandini rested her head on his shoulder and entwined her fingers with him. He held her by the waist and kissed the top of her head. 

Later all slept going to their homes as they were tired. 

Manan and mukbhi slept cuddling each other. 

The next day: 

Malhotra house. 

The society ladies mandal had gathered at Nandini's house. They were waiting for her. She had disappeared suddenly. 

They planned on meeting as Nandini was having work only till lunch break. That is 2'o clock. Now it was 3:30pm and there was no sign of her. 

They called Manik and then Mukti and told them that Nandini was missing. 

They rushed back home. Manik was in a meeting when his p.a. came and told him about the call. He rushed out putting responsibility on somebody trustworthy.

Malhotra house

Time: 4 o' clock 

The police force was gathered here and was trying to track Nandini's phone. 

The commissioner: Mr. Malhotra the location of Mrs. Malhotra has been traced. 

Manik asked him about the location. And they said that it was on the outskirts of the city in an abandoned factory. 

The police along with Manik reached there and found some goons there guarding. They were 6 in number. They had a needle gun whose needle tip contained a med that made them unconscious. 

After putting the goons in the jeep with men guarding in and out. They made their way inside. First Manik went in alone.

In the factory: 

In one corner a person sorry actually two people were seated. One was tied with a chair and the other in front of the person. 

Manik came in and found harshad tied to the chair. WAIT! What!! HARSHAD WAS TIED TO THE CHAIR. 

And the person turned around and Manik was shocked. It was his.... 

Mom Manik whispered. 

He was shocked. He ran and hugged her. Mom what are you doing here, he said breaking the hug. 

Niyonika said to Manik : he tried to kidnap Nandini and I. And even successfully did it. 

As she said her name Manik panicked and asked: mom where is she?? Is she fine?? And how come your here. Aren't you supposed to be in New York City. 

Niyonika said smiling sadly: Manik Nandini is not here. And I was here to visit you guys your dad was coming too but he left to California for an urgent meeting. 

What do u mean by she's not here? Ok ohh. He asked her in shock. 

Nandini is kidn*pped by this bastard's father. Mr. Raichand. What? He screamed. Mr. Raichand is a very close family friend of both Murthy and Malhotra. 

Manik then said: but her phone location is shown here. 

What are u saying Niyonika asked in shock. 

Violence from now 

No I saw him taking her. Niyonika stated. The duo were confused but they say right "evil minds think alike". Both mother son duo smirked their evil smirk which is very scary and dangerous I tell u. 

Both turned to Harshad and asked him about Nandini's whereabouts calmly but firmly. 

Harshad: I'll die but I won't tell her location to you idiots. He spat angrily. 

Manik said: I don't think so right mother. 

and he took out a knife and cut Harshad's Palm and Niyonika put salt on his wound and he shrieked in pain. He didn't answer but after 2 punches on face, three cuts on left arm and one s***h on his face he answered. 

Harshad: she is on the other side of the building. 

Now, wasn't that easy to answer. Manik said and he along with Niyonika went taking all the tools with them and making sure he doesn't have anything to escape not before kicking him one last time on the family jewels.

Later: 

Niyonika and Manik reached the other side and Manik asked her to stay behind as a backup. Lie. 

She nodded not knowing it was his plan so that she stays safe. 

Then he moved forward and searched around he found Nandini tied to a chair along with a man sitting in front of her. He then slowly made his way other side so he could see them but they couldn't hiding behind boxes. 

The man turned out to be Mr. Ajay Raichand, who was jealous of Manik's success and as he had Nandini as his life partner. And he was their close friend but Harshad's father. Like father like son. But were disgusting and down right pathetic. Involved in mafia and taking innocent girl's lives for their own selfish reasons. 

Manik then slowly went and hit on Ajay raichand's head with rod so he could be unconscious. Then he untied Nandini and lifted her in his arms and asked her to call kabir. Soon kabir came in with inspector and took Raichand with them and Manan came back home and found all society members out in the precincts of the society. They asked if Nandini was alright and Manik said it was just another business rival. Later in the evening Manik went down to the soda shop a habit he developed staying here. 

He found all of the men and joined them and they started to discuss on their day. Then Jethalal started talking to his fire brigade i.e. Taarak Mehta and then when Manik asked:what's the matter?So iyer said that Jethalal was in trouble. 

Manik then got to know that Champak Chacha was pissed at Jethalal again for some matter. All laughed and gave Jethalal a solution to his problem. 

This is how Manik and Nandini's life continued.

Note: hey guys as u must have read so the book is over with three more chapters and a bonus chapter that is mainly their siblings wedding.
