I must be the biggest i***t on the face of the planet! What the hell was I thinking, leaving her like that! I'm such a fool!
The moment was perfect. We had a perfect day together. Everything was perfect. All I had to do was kiss her. She wanted me to. I could see it in the way she arched her back and lifted her chin. I ruined it.
