Evelyn’s POV
Johann's arms feel so good around me. His warmth calms me down and believe me, I can really use that after my soap with Alan. But wait, wasn't Alan so warm, so comfortable too? Did I not trust him either, but ended up cheated? Why should Johann be different from all the others from the past?
I create some space between us and observe Johann's face looking for any difference. My wolf instinct tells me he's a good person, but so were Michael, Marcus and Alan!
But should I generalize, is it fair to pre-condemn Johann without giving him a chance? Shhhhhhhiss!! I decide to tell him parts of what happened at Alan's house and see how he handles it. A test of his reliability.
