Evelyn doesn't want him anymore, since when did English become such a difficult language? He thinks he's going to impress, but Evelyn leaves him standing and walks back to her seat. Marcus clearly doesn't know Evelyn. She never shies away from a challenge and from my senses she already made up her mind about her life. I just pray that Johann is in it. She hasn't asked about him since we got here. I'm not hiding from her that I'm still in contact with him.
She sits next to me now, looking with an indifferent face at Marcus, who wants his followers to believe that he and Evelyn will be okay.
