Alan is like old times.
His jokes and teasing make the evening unforgettable. Those weighty dishes he ordered are minimal and expensive as usual, but very tasty and just not enough to satisfy my hunger. But that's not what dinner with a date is for, right?!. Outdoor dining is more meant to have a good time together and relax. And Alan takes good care of that. It's been a long time since I've been able to let myself go like this, be myself in the company of others. After my traumatic past, I am wary of people because I know they have the ability to deeply disappoint you. And then the deception! No, I've had my share of that and I think it's enough, so I'm being careful.
