“You can let go your death grip on the upholstery now,” Jimmy said, squeezing Barry’s knee. “Piss off. I wasn’t that bad,” Barry protested. “Bet you s**t your shorts,” Jimmy continued teasing. “Want me to show you?” Barry made to undo his seatbelt. “Boys,” Jake said from behind the wheel. Barry smiled to himself. That was usually his line when Jimmy and Jake started getting out of hand. They’d reached a less steep bit of track and the falling snow had turned to rain. The journey down the mountain had been quite the adventure. It was one Barry wasn’t eager to repeat anytime soon.
