Clair had gone over to and through the left door having turned the handle and pushed the door open. Sunlight flooded into the small room she was standing in, yet again changing its aspect and feel for the better. She followed Clair; she then stopped at the door, her eyes wide, trying to accept what she was seeing. The room was lit by natural sunlight; she should have expected that from the way it fell through from within when the door had been opened by Clair. The light arrived via a huge deep-set bay window with a window seat.
