After Alpha Roman said those words to Hayley, her eyes flashed with hurt and pain, but he cared less. He squatted in front of her before leaning his mouth closer to her ear. “If only you accepted, I wouldn't have banished you from this pack, but since you chose to disobey me, I hope you don't get eaten by the rogues." Alpha Roman said with a smirk on his lips, while Hayley glared at him. She is just an ordinary girl with no power, and as such, she didn't have the right to talk back or curse at the Alpha. “Do you want me to drag you out myself?” Rosa asked, her eyes filled with disdain for Hayley. “ Guards!” She called when Hayley wouldn't stand up from the ground. “Turn her out of this pack,” Rosa ordered, and the two hefty pack warriors marched towards Hayley in unison before dragging her roughly by the arms. As she was being dragged away, Hayley's eyes remained on Alpha Roman’s own until she was dragged out of the room. There was just one thing pounding deep inside Hayley’s heart, and that was Revenge. She was sure to get revenge for all Alpha Roman and Rosa did to her; that's if she survived not getting eaten by rogues. Once Hayley was gone, Rosa turned to face Alpha Roman, who looked at her too before frowning. “Why are you staring at me that way?” He asked as he took a bottle of whiskey from his small bar inside his room. “Something is off, Alpha.” Rosa drew closer to Alpha Roman, staring deep into his soul with her emerald green eyes. “And what is that?” “I saw your wolf form change into a human when I came in. Were you trying to force yourself on her?” Rosa asked, making Alpha Roman scoff before taking a sip from the glass of wine. “Yes, I did force myself on her, but does that concern you? Remember, I am the Alpha of this pack, and I get to do whatever I want with whomever I want." Alpha Roman once again reminded Rosa that he was the Alpha. “I never knew you could stoop so low in forcing yourself on a low omega whom you rejected just yesterday.” Rosa was mad. The fact that even after being rejected, Alpha Roman still wanted to taste Hayley made jealousy pile up inside of her. “How dare you?” Alpha Roman threw the glass in his hands on the wall, causing Rosa to flinch in fear. “How dare you insult me?” His voice was low and menacing, and his eyes were red with anger. “I.... am…..sorry.” Rosa knew that Alpha Roman can be extremely dangerous, especially when he is angry, so making him mad was not the right thing to do. “I will leave now and be back when you are calm.” Rosa used that opportunity to flee out of his room. "No one messes with me and goes free, not when I am still the Alpha of the Royal Blood Pack,” Alpha Roman growled before drinking directly from the bottle of whiskey. *********** After being banished from the Royal Blood Pack, Hayley felt a mix of emotions swirling inside of her. She was angry, sad, and filled with the urge for revenge because she felt like she had been betrayed by the pack where she was born. “I will come back for revenge; that's a promise.” That word kept replaying inside her mind as she walked barefoot to her cabin. At the same time, she felt a sense of freedom for the first time in many years. A part of her was so joyous because she had never experienced such freedom before. As she walked, many passersby kept looking and whispering into each other's ear. They were all aware by then that Hayley had been banished from the pack and had also become the talk of the town. Her name ceased to leave everyone's mouth as he walked past them. She made her way back to her cabin deep into the woods, with her two hands still hovering over her chest since Alpha Roman tore her cloth while trying to force himself on her. Hayley packed up her belongings carefully, especially her grandmother's precious possessions that reminded her of the past. As she left the familiar pack behind and crossed the pack’s border, a feeling of danger crept its way inside of her, instilling fear in her. The sun was still bright since it was still morning, but Hayley felt as if she was walking all by herself in the middle of the night. As her wooden sandals made contact with the dried leaves on the ground, a sense of dread enveloped her. She kept walking endlessly as she began to sense rogue wolves nearby. She might not have a wolf at the moment, but her senses are still alert, which helps her know if a rogue or someone unfamiliar is coming closer. "MMoon goddess, save me” were the only words that left her mouth as she increased her pace. The scent of the rogue's wolves lingered in the air, and Hayley knew she had to be careful as she ventured into an unknown territory far from Royal Blood borders. As the smell became incredibly close, her instincts kicked in as she sought to hide herself under a thick tree, trying to hide her scent from the rogue wolves. However, it seems the moon goddess wasn't on her side because it wasn't long before the rogues picked up her trail. Their predatory instincts drove them to hunt Hayley down relentlessly. Seeing that they were coming for her, Hayley left the tree and began to sprint away through the dense forest without a particular destination in mind. All she wanted at that moment was to run far away from them. The sounds of their howls were getting closer and closer by the second. The chase seemed to be a never-ending one, as the rogues kept closing in on her with every passing moment. Hayley pushed her body to its limits, running as fast as she could. Panice started to consume her as he felt the rogues getting closer, their growls and howls echoing through the forest. Just when she couldn't run any longer, exhaustion took over, making her stumble and fall to the ground. Her heart began to race in her chest, and adrenaline was pumping through her veins as she braced herself for the attack that was about to set. When the rogue wolves were about to strike, sudden gunshots rang out, breaking the tense silence. The sound of gunshots pierced through the air, causing Hayley to cover her ears instinctively. That lasted for some seconds until the echoes of the gunshot faded away. She cautiously opened her eyes to find the rogue wolves lying lifeless on the ground. Hayley gasped as her hand flew over her mouth. Someone just saved her from getting killed by rogues, but who was this mysterious savior of hers? Relief washed over Hayley as she realized that she had been rescued from the clutches of death. “Are you okay?” A masculine voice rang from behind, jolting Hayley from her trance. Hearing such a masculine and husky voice, adrenaline didn't fail to run down her spine. Turning around, Hayley saw a tall, handsome, and muscular man behind her, holding a gun on his shoulder. Realizing kicked in when she squinted her eyes to get a better view of the man in front of her. It turned out to be the LYCAN KING OF THE EVERGLADE PACK. “ Mate! She is our mate!” Rony, the Lycan King's wolf, shouted inside of him, making him frown slightly. “Is she our mate?" He asked, his eyes focused on Hayley, who stood riled to the ground in shock after hearing what he had just said. “Yes, she is definitely our mate, whom we've been searching endlessly for, '' Rony replied, excited in his voice.
