The air around us chilled with a malevolent energy, as if the very atmosphere had turned against us. My heart pounded in my chest, my senses straining to make sense of the cloaked figure standing before us, radiating an unnatural power.
His voice cut through the silence like a blade, carrying an authority that made every muscle in my body tense. "You have no idea what you’ve unleashed."
