His Hybrid Princess

"Save it! I don't want to hear anything from a useless hybrid like you."

His words kept repeating in my head like an echo. Useless.. Even in hell or underworld wherever here is.. I'm still considered as useless.

I slumped in my chair. What am I going to do in this huge place anyway?

"U-um.. Miss?" I heard a small voice.

When I slowly stood up, I saw a girl, maybe couple years younger than I am, leaning on the door with some dust wiper in her hands.

"Yes?" She flinched at the sound of my voice.

"D-do you want me to clean your room?" She answered with soft voice. Clean my-- then an idea pops in my mind!

"You're brilliant!!" I shrieked which earned another flinch and squeak from her.

"Umm...Do you know where to find the cleaning materials?" I took her hands on mine.

"D-d-down the hall" she answered, her voice is quite shivering.

"Thank you so much!" I hugged her and proceeded running down the hall to find some cleaning tools.

Might as well clean some spots while I have nothing to do.

When I reached the door which I guessed is where the maid chamber is, I quickly held a sweeper and a damp cloth.

I opened several doors, seemingly like guest rooms just like mine. And sweep its floor while wiping some cabinet tops with the cloth that I had. I am actually enjoying myself while cleaning enormous rooms.

I was walking to another room hoping to find another guest room to clean but when I opened it, I gasped at what I saw.

"A huge freaking library?!" I whisper shouted to myself. I literally skipped my way through the shelf's to find books worth reading.

"This is heaven!!!!" I silently squealed which earned a hearty laugh from me. Oh the irony.

I am running my fingers on the shelf hoping to find something but one book took my attention.

The book doesn't have any title on it, nor colorful cover. Its only plain black. I took the book and sat on the chair near the window. The orange glow of the sunset serving as beautiful light.

I opened the cover only to see a blank first page.

What?!

I opened the second page.. The third page until I look at all the pages, all being blank.

I look at the book strangely, maybe this is really some.. Prank book. I stood up, deciding to return the book from where it came from but I flinched as it seemingly released some hot substance which caused spark on my fingers.

"What the-!"

I look at the tip of my fingers only to see some third degree burns that is slowly healing up like nothing happened. It once happened to me before, healing fast, but not this fast.

My attention is brought back to the book. I poke it and sighed. Its not burning me anymore. Good grief.

I held it again, I saw the first page saying.. FIRST HYBRID PROPHECIES. I gasped.

I opened the second one, the third and so on and so forth only to find all of them full with ink and words. Some even has illustration of animals.

Am I just hallucinating earlier? I'm pretty sure that I saw these pages blank. Not even a smudge of ink.

"The demon genes, also considered as one of the vampire genes and the werewolf families are considered as the mortal enemy of all time. Legend says that the Moon Goddess is once fooled by a Vampire causing her to get angry and curse all the Vampire/Demon families to get weak whenever sun is out.

Being the two are mortal enemies. Its impossible to make a family if one is a vampire or demon and one is a werewolf. And also because of the offspring. It is said that, even if a Vampire/Demon mated with a werewolf, an offspring is impossible.

Therefore, a hybrid is seemingly impossible. But a witch named Aldoanian predicted a dark future.

She said that a hybrid offspring will be formed and will be the most dangerous being. Most powerful. But people didn't believe her. "

Oh my, t-the most powerful? D-dangerous?

" The King will have demon genes making the offspring a hybrid. "

Suddenly, Lucian's words popped in my mind. Is it possible that?

My mind is paused when I heard a loud squeaking sound outside. More like a quack of a bird. But who am I kidding?! This is underworld no birds.

"I see you saw the book?" I jumped in shock when I heard a soft male voice that came from behind me.

Gosh darn!! Am I not supposed to be here? Is this like, his secret place or what?

Now that took a look at him, he's tall, definitely taller than I am but he is shorter than Lucian. He has dark hair with blonde streaks and his hair is dangled downward. He had this sweater on. And is wearing an "I'm bored" expression on his face.

"I-im sorry what?"

"Did you see anything in there?" He nods his head towards the direction of the book that is placed on the chair.

"I-i did read a few things."

"So you are really real huh?"

"Who?" I am so confused right now

"The hybrid, have you read what the prophecy stated?" He again speaks softly, but low enough to let me hear him.

"Y-yeah, part of it."

His head turns on the direction outside. I found a big bird flying on our direction, the crow had three heads, similar to Berus.

"This is Naberius. Nab, meet Princess Aaliyah."

The crow bowed. The way he calls me princess made me cringe. I'm no way near a princess.

Anyway, does every animal here have three heads?
