"That's impossible. We need seeds, crops, growers, farmers and all other things to grow plants and trees. You are all of those," Devan proudly said about what his friend can do.
"Devan is right, class. All those jobs of one thousand farmers can be done by just one powerful Earth element user." He glanced at Jerome. "We should never tell anyone outside our village about his power or those kingdoms from both sides will take him away for their own benefits." He was referring to Maho Kingdom and Sueno Kingdom.
The class made a scary noise, afraid of being taken away from their village.
"Please, I don't want to be kidn*pped!" Jerome exclaimed.
"Okay, class. Next is Franco," Master called the chubby boy at the back row.
He stood up and carried a small wooden box. He walked to the front and placed the box on the teacher's table.
"What is that?" Master Louvre asked.
'It's gunpowder." He opened it and showed it to everyone. "It's my family's business."
"What are you going to do with it. That's dangerous to use around your classmates." He became wary of the danger of gunpowder. "You brought too much gun powder."
"I don't have special magic but I can show my experiment to everyone." He took out two flint rocks and started striking them into one another on top of the gunpowder. He added some sparkling black dust on them. A few more tries and the rocks sparkled. Its sparkle went straight to the gun powder and it started fire, then it exploded.
Devan's reflex was instant that he quickly jumped over Jerome to cover him towards the ground.
The other students screamed as the fire and smoke engulfed the entire classroom.
Devan quickly stood up and raised his hand to release magic. A splash of water was thrown over Franco and the fire. He used his wind power to disperse the smoke. The room became clear.
The blackboard and the table were all burned, and Franco was also on the floor, his arm was burnt. A few students sitting on the floor were also hurt by the explosion. The other students ran towards the back and were scared.
"Franco!" Master Louvre ran and checked his student. He also looked around to see the other kids lying on the floor. "Oh my..."
"It's painful, Master," the students in pain said while crying.
Devan stared at his hands, imagining what else he could do to help his classmates. He didn't overthink and raised his hands, releasing silver dust to the entire room. The blackboard and everything in the room returned to normal as if nothing happened. The kids' injuries healed.
