Devan hugged his father and younger brother to say goodbye. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ "Be careful there, brother," Jerome said. "Thank you, Jerome." His gaze went to his father. "I will miss you, Dad." Come back to us safe and sound." He waved his hand, then he looked at his mother. "How long are we going to walk towards the mountain?" Devan asked while staring at the peak of the mountain. It can be viewed from their house. It looked close to them but it was miles away. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ "We are not walking, we're flying." She held him tight and started floating in the air. "Whoaaa!" He screamed. "You can fly, Mom?" ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ "You can, too, use your wind power and you will learn that in no time, but remember, you are not allowed to use your power in one month. Understand?" He raised his right arm to swear. Devan was amazed while flying above the clouds. He could see the beauty of the green forest and the water body surrounding it. "Mom, is it safe to walk through the forest? Can we walk there. for a bit?" Not for you," she declined. "You are not strong enough to protect yourself against the beasts in the forest. There are hungry, wild beasts roaming around that forest and that would be dangerous to you. Your safety is the most important, more than anything else." She continued flying towards the mountainous area. It took her less than an hour to reach the temple. "This is way easier than crossing that desert," she said to herself. The temple has several infrastructure, and the largest one is in the middle. It was constructed in white marble and stone, accentuated with gold. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ "We're here," she said. He turned around and saw the beautiful horizon from the top of the mountain. He felt the sun shone closer to him, but the cold temperature and strong wind over empowered the heat of the sun. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ "Excuse me," a male voice said from behind. "Who are you?" It was a man in his fifties, wearing white overall from top to bottom, and a younger man behind him wearing the same clothing. I am Soira and I came here to seek help for my son, Devan," she started. "Nurse Avria suggested sending him here to train." The man walked towards Devan and placed his hand on the kid's head. He closed his eyes and released energy. "This kid is too powerful, and he hasn't developed his full potential yet." He bent down to talk to Devan. "Are you willing to stay here to train with us?" He nodded. "Yes, Master." "Great." He glanced at his back. "Aleph, send Devan into the temple and meet with other kids. Don't let him use his power for a month." "Yes, Master Wolf." He bowed. "Let's go, Devan." He followed the man named Aleph. "We need to talk," he said to Soira. "I won't accept any payment in training the prince." Soira was shocked. She got worried about Devan's safety.. "Y-you know him?" "I saw his past," he said. "The true hair of the throne is the only one who can have such power. His secret is safe with us. I will protect him with my life." He recalled something. "Hara will be happy to know her nephew is safe." "Hara?" She was clueless, but she heard her name from Nurse Avria as a master. "She is the former king's sister. She trained here since she was ten because she also had the same fate as Devan, powerful but unable to control it. She is just doing some mission now, but she will be back. Let's go inside and have some talk." The man named Master Wolf turned around and walked without any noise; he was like floating. Soira followed him.
