Chapter 16: Royal Mage Hara

"Your Highness," Hara bowed before the king. He was standing through the window of the visitor's area of his private office, observing the capital of Maho Kingdom.

Everything can be seen from his office which was located on the fifth floor, and the main palace was elevated, placed on top of the hill.

"I am glad you came to the kingdom and took the exam," he said. "I wonder why such a strong mage was not heard before."

Pinnacus was standing near the door, waiting for the king's orders.

"I stayed my whole life in the mountain region and trained there, Your Highness."

"That's why." He placed his hand behind him and walked slowly. "My daughter wants you to become her master. Train her."

"It will be my honor, Your Highness." She bowed, clenching her teeth. "Though I need to examine the power of your daughter, for me to know where to start."

"Pinnacus, call the princess."

Pinnacus bowed before leaving the room. He went back a few minutes later with the princess. "Princess Aina is here, Your Highness."

"You called me, father." She glanced at Hara who was standing in the middle of the room. "Lady Hara!"
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
"She wants to examine your power, my daughter." He raised his hand, giving a go signal to Hara to approach the princess.
She bowed before approaching Aina. She placed her hand on Aina's head and released blue energy.

She faced the king. "The princess is powerful but she could not control it, and it is an unstable power. She needs to be trained in a colder place with a solemn environment with lots of positive energy, or else it will definitely affect her health."

She thought of having the princess captured in the temple while searching the entire palace. In case she will be captured, she also has the princess.

"What is your suggestion then?" the king asked.

"If you can send her to the temple at the top of the mountain, it will be the best for her. Have her trained there for a few months up to one year, she will become the most powerful princess we ever had."

"I don't think that's possible," the king did not approve of the suggestion. "I won't allow it. Have an alternative training for my daughter."

"I want to, father! I want to become the most powerful princess of all!" Aina complained. "I want to go there. Did you also train there?"
Hara nodded. "Yes."

"Then I will train on the mountain," the princess insisted.

"Aina, it's dangerous to live by yourself there. I won't allow it." The king felt frustrated, it was difficult for him to say no to his child.
"I will tell the queen mother to allow me to train there." She pouted and tried to leave the room.

The king gave up to the princess' tantrums. "Okay, okay. You will train there, but your handmaiden Clara and some soldiers will stay there to guard you."

Hara secretly smiled. Her plans went well.
"Thank you, father!" She jumped out of happiness. She ran to her father and hugged him. "You're the best!"

The king glanced at Hara. "I will make sure of my daughter's safety. I will have some Royal Mages there to watch over her. You can't go there, either. We need you here. Just give us the directions and my people will send the princess there."

"I won't go there, too, because I need to find my brother," she whispered. "Yes, Your Highness."

"The princess will prepare today and send her there tomorrow. You may leave now." He waved his hand, ending the conversation.
"You may task powerful mages to send her there safely, Your Highness," She bowed before leaving the room. She can start searching for her brother tonight.
