Chapter 20 Royal Mage Dwight

Master Wolf poured tea on her cup. His movements were swift yet controlled. "Hara was just ten when she was sent here. Her inner power was restless and strong. She almost died because of it, that's why she was sent here." He sat on the chair across Soira. "She was never introduced to the public yet before she was sent here. No one knows her."

Soira drank the tea before speaking. "Is there a way I could talk to Hara? I need to ask for her help to find the king and the queen."

"She already went back to Maho Kingdom to find them."

"That's good to hear." Her hopes went high. "I hope she can find them."

"Master," a young man called outside Master Wolf's office.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

"Alec, what is it?"

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

"We have visitors outside. The daughter of the current king of Maho Kingdom, a Royal Mage and their soldiers," he said.

Soira froze. They should never see her. Some of the palace's guards and mages know her.

Master Wolf gestured to calm down. "I will talk to them, then find a way to escape. I will take care of Devan, don't worry."

"Thank you, Master." She pulled her scarf and covered her head. She stood up and followed Master Wolf.

She stopped behind the huge indoor plant and peeked through it. Master Wolf walked calmly as he proceeded to the temple's receiving area. She saw the former Royal Mage of King Harold, now serving the new king. She frowned upon seeing him.

"Traitor," she whispered, clenching his teeth.

There were few soldiers with him and she saw some more outside the temple. She won't be able to escape in this situation. She patiently waited in her spot.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

"He is our temple's master, Master Wolf," the man named Alec introduced. "Master, he is a Royal Mage from Maho Kingdom and the soldiers. The princess came here to train."

"I understand. Where's the princess?" Master Wolf asked.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

"She roamed around the temple, Master," Dwight said. He glanced at one of the soldiers. "Find the princess and bring her here."

"Yes, Sir." The soldier bowed and left.

"We can accept the princess here, although we won't be able to accommodate too many soldiers here. I can allow two people, but that's the maximum." Master placed his hands behind him. "There's nothing to worry about the princess' safety, the temple is the safest place for her."

"I will stay, Master Wolf, and one soldier for errands," Dwight said.

"Very well." Master Wolf nodded. "I will prepare the quarters for you and the soldier. The princess will have her own room at the dormitory for the trainees. There's only one kid we accommodated recently, but there will be a few more kids arriving soon."
