Chapter 12: The Beautiful Princess

She used her magic to fly, leaving the school. She can't relax while Devan was still in danger. She needs to find a way to meet that mage Hara.

They arrived at their house. She carried Devan up to his room on the second floor.

"What happened to him?" Klei rushed to his son and checked his temperature on his head. "He seems calm now."

"He overused his power and drained his energy. He will take a leave from school for a month to recuperate and meditate."

Klei took Devan from her arms and carried him upstairs. Soira followed them. "I need to find a certain mage who could help him with his power and train him." She sighed and leaned on the door. "The nurse in the dispensary said he is a ticking time bomb. He needs training from a master to help him properly."

"Where can we find that master?" Klei asked while thinking. They need to find a certain person they don't even know where to find.

The Royal Mage's examination started. The host announced the first part of the exam.

"The first exam is showing your magic. Make us impressed." The audience clapped. He waited for the clap to die down before speaking up again. "Before we proceed, let's welcome the king and queen of Maho Kingdom!" He straightened his right arm, opened his palm and gestured to bow upon the entrance of the royal couple. "Our King Glaicus and Queen Ezra!"

Everyone lowered their heads as a sign of respect to the rulers of the entire kingdom.
The king was wearing his crown and red cape, looked regal while walking towards the Royal seat for the king. They were placed in a separate area with three golden seats in front and twelve white seats at the back. Their viewing place has linen cover above them to protect them from the sun.

The queen walked slowly upon entering, wearing her blue ball gown and a white gold crown. There were twelve Royal Mages in white clothings were following them. They all sat in their respective seats.

"Keul, please make a grand introduction to our daughter," the queen instructed the host of the examination.

"Today, we will all see the crown princess, the future of the Maho Kingdom." He raised his hand once more. "Let us all welcome the beautiful Princess Aina."

Everyone turned their head in the direction where the host was pointing. A twelve-year old girl came out from the entrance door of the arena. She has brown hair and blue eyes, pointed nose and thin lips. Her heart-shaped face looked beautiful as the sun shone on her. Her white ball dress matched her cream-colored, delicate skin.

Aina walked with grace going to her seat, on the left side of the king. She sat with proper posture and calm manner.

The entire crowd forgot to bow, as they saw the most beautiful teenager in the entire kingdom.

"She is stunning!"

The witnesses kept on praising the beauty of the crown princess. She smiled at them, acknowledging their praises.

Hara, on the other hand, wanted to use her magic to make the current king and queen pay for what they did to her brother and his entire family. She clenched her teeth.

"I need to get in as a Royal Mage," she said to herself. "I need to find them no matter what."

"Let us pay respect to the crown princess of Maho Kingdom." Keul, the host, faced the royal family and bowed. The audience followed him.

Aina raised her hand and told them to rise. "Don't mind me. Please proceed with the examination."
