Ash bolts up to a sitting position to see who has entered the room, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. “What the hell? Candy? What's wrong?”
“It’s the bus driver they brought with them. She won't wake up!”
Holy s**t… How have we all forgotten about the bus driver? I haven't seen her since I asked Jerry to take her to a room. Ash turns to me, confused.
“You guys brought a bus driver?”
“Who do you think drove that big school bus out front?”
“I don't know! One of you guys? Dan?” I shake my head and rush with him out the door, following Candy to where the bus driver lies motionless in bed. Steven, Trinity, and Jerry are all surrounding her, looking pretty shaken.
