I couldn’t stop thinking about Selena
Her smile, the way she laughs and everything
Someone knocked
“Good morning Adrian”my dad said entering the room
“Oh good morning dad”I said sitting down
“Sorry about yesterday Adrian, I was worried about you”
“Why were you worried?”
“Uhm” he hesitated and sighed “it’s nothing to worry about, just be safe”
“Why does no one tell me anything in this house, I’m not a child!!!”
“You will understand soon enough”he said standing up
“Well” he continued
“I have somewhere to be, I’ll talk to you later”
“Ok”I said rolling my eyes
25 mins later
“Why don’t I invite Selena to sit with me at lunch, then I can invite her friend she’s always with”
I texted her
Me-Good morning sleepyhead
Selena-Hey
Me- do you want us to have lunch together? You can invite your friend and I’ll invite mine
Selena-Do you mean Nadia?
Me- sorry I don’t know what her name is…
Selena-no problem see you at school
AT SCHOOL
“Hey Liam” I said
Liam looked at me, analyzing me from head to toe
“Did you win the lottery”
“What do you mean” I said laughing
“You look…so..much happier.. and what’s weird…” he said still analyzing me
“Liam” I sighed “it’s nothing, I just feel happier”
“Did you and Selena have s*x?”

AFTER CLASSES
“Oh man I forgot to tell you, me you and Selena are having lunch” I told Liam

“Well, she texted me in class to know where I’ll meet her so let’s go”
FEW MINUTES LATER
We saw Selena and Nadia sitting down together laughing and they paused when they saw us
Nadia whispered something to Selena and she giggled
“You may sit” Selena said
“Hey, I’m Nadia” she said stretching her hands and we both shaked her
“You’re beautiful” Liam told her
“Liammmm”I nudged him
“Sorry sorry sorry”
“Soooo”Selena said “what shall we order?”
“I don’t know, you pick” I replied
“Waiter the menu” Nadia signaled at the waiter
“Shall we?” She replied
“How bout coffee and croissants?” Selena said
“Yea that’s okay because I’m going to class after this” I said
“Me too” Nadia shrugged
“Sane” Liam said
“Why does it feel like I’m picking for you guys, order something else” Selena argued
“Nope” the three of us said
“Ok fine” she sighed
I couldn’t help myself but smile because of how cute she looks
We discussed for a while,talked about school and managing our companies, then it was time to go back to class
“Well we have to go babe” Nadia said to Selena
“Yea yea, I feel like going home to sleep”Selena replied
“You know you can’t”
“I know”
She paused then continued
“Well it was nice meeting you guys especially you Adrian”Nadia said hugging me
“What do you mean, especially me?”I said looking confused
“You’ll know soon”Nadia giggled and Selena hit her head
“Well we have to go before she says something she isn’t meant to say”

We all said our goodbyes and I saw Liam glaring at me
“Something is definitely going on between you and Selena”
“Nothing is Liam, come on let’s go to class”
“Hmph ok sure”
AFTER CLASSES
“I’m so hungry I could eat a full human being” Liam said
“Ew what the hell” I said
“Buy me food, I wasn’t filled at all during lunch”
“Then why’d you not say anything then?” I said turning to look at him
“I didn't want to disgrace myself in front of Nadia, she’s sexy you know”
“Then I’m not sure you’re hungry” I said laughing
“Come on let’s go back to the cafe”
“Thanks man you’re the best”
Reaching the cafe we saw Nadia and Selena inside already
“s**t Nadia is here, how do I look?” Liam said arranging is hair

Selena saw me through the glass door and called me
“Hey Adrian over here!!!” Selena said practically screaming
I went to meet her

“Uhm Nadia how bout we go outside to talk”Liam said
“Sure anywhere but here, let’s go”
“Also, Adrian don’t forget to buy my food tho”

“Sooo Selena, how was school?”
“I don’t care about school, what do Liam and Nadia think about us?”
“So a whole Selena Moreau cares what other people think about her huh?”
“Shut up”
“Ok ma’am”
“But seriously tho what do they think?, do they think we are dating?”
“Uhm..I don’t know ask Nadia”
“I can’t she won’t say anything, ask Liam”
“I can’t, he will tease me for life”
“Sooo I guess we are stuck”
“So Selena, do you want me to get anything for you? I’m getting food for Liam”
“Just a croissant”
“You must really like croissants”
“Yea” she laughed “I do, I eat them since when I was a baby so yea”
“At least I finally know something about you”
We both laughed
After ordering food we both went outside
“Uhm Nadia I bought something for you”I said
“Aww thanks”Nadia replied
“So Nadia lets go home it’s already getting late”Selena said pulling Nadia
“Uhm Selena” I called out
She looked at me
I brought out a necklace
“This is the necklace I bought for you the first day we met”
“Aww this is so sweet, wear it for me”
I wore the necklace for her and I couldn’t help but smile ear to ear
“Thank you Adrian but I really have to go, byeee”

“So you like Selena?” Liam said
“I don’t know I can’t lie, I think I’m starting to like her”
“Well be careful she’s still your rival”
I handed him his food
“Wowww thank you so much for spoiling the mood”
“I’m just warning you, well we will see tomorrow, later” he fits bumped me but his words was still ringing in my head
Selena is my rival there’s no way I can date her

I entered and I saw my dad waiting for me
