A Necklace

The next day, Keysia was getting ready to go to school because it was her first day at the new school. The name Cipta Bangsa High School is not far from his house. Enthusiastically Keysia stepped out to study, not forgetting that she also said goodbye to her mother. Last night’s incident has been forgotten by Keyisa and is considered a passing wind. “Do you want to go to school now, Key?” asked Sita. “Yes, ma’am. Oh yeah, where’s Daddy? I want to say goodbye.” “Your father is still sleeping in the room, you just go later Mother will tell Dad when he wakes up,” Shinta smiled sweetly. “In that case, okay. Mom, I’m going to school first,” Keysia kissed her mother’s hand. “Do you know the way to your school? You’ve only been here a few days, shouldn’t you just take me to school?” asked Sita. “No need, Mother. I can do it myself. As for the route, I can ask if I don’t know. After all, Father has already registered me and completed all the registration documents, so I just have to go.” Keysia refuses her mother’s offer. The girl didn’t want to bother her mother. “Well, be careful on the road, okay?” Don’t forget Shinta always reminds her daughter to be careful. “Ready mom.” Keysia nodded. Then the girl immediately left. From home he ordered an online motorcycle taxi service because from his house to the highway it was quite far, it took about 30 minutes by foot. Moreover, the path he was about to take was quite extreme. First, Keysia had to pass through a residential alley that was crooked, one block after her house was an alley that looked quite deserted because in that block there were many empty houses that had not been inhabited for a long time. It seemed very scary to walk alone at night through the alley on the block. Then Keysia will pass through a fairly long pine forest, on the right and left of the road there are neatly lined pine trees, this part is also a bit scary because there are rarely people there other than just passing by. After that out of the Pine forest, turn right a little then Keysia will arrive at a highway, from there she continues her journey by public transportation to her school. Cipta Bangsa High School is one of the best schools in the area, there are also quite a lot of students, and this is also where Bram used to go to school. Keysia entered the gate with a strange feeling, this new environment still felt very foreign to her. But he still has to be able to adjust so that many friends like him. Therefore Keysia always put on a friendly face with a sweet smile that always appeared on her lips whenever another student looked at her. Keysia came to see her homeroom teacher, because he would take her to class. When the bell for class rang, Keysia followed Mrs. Hanum’s steps to class XI IPA 1 and would soon meet her new friends. “Good morning, children,” said Mrs. Hanum. “Morning, ma’am.” All students answered in unison. “Kids, this morning we have a new friend. Please introduce yourself,” said Mrs. Hanum. Keysia nodded, she took a deep breath before starting to speak. Now all eyes are on him. “Hello friends, my name is Keysia Alvaro. You can call me Key, I moved from Jakarta because I followed my father who was transferred here. Nice to meet you all, I hope we can become good friends,” said Keysia with a smile and then waved goodbye to the whole class, hoping that she would be well received here. “Hi, Keysia. You are very beautiful, “said one of the friends who sat on the front bench. “Hi too, thank you,” Keysia replied with a smile. The first impression he got of course from the various views he received. Some looked at him friendly, some looked at him cynically, and some were indifferent even though there was a new kid in the class. One of the sights that disturbed Keysia was a pair of eagle eyes from a boy who was sitting on the second bench next to the student bench. His gaze was cold, sharp, and slightly here, of course without the slightest smile. Keysia could already guess that the boy would not like her, but as a new child she would try to be nice and friendly to everyone. “Okay then, please sit down, Keysia,” said Mrs. Hanum. “Okay ma’am.” Keysia looked here and there to find an empty seat, then a girl with shoulder-length hair called out to her. “Key, come sit next to me,” the girl waved while pointing at the empty seat beside her, and the seat was right in the second row next to the eagle-eyed man. Actually Keysia was reluctant to sit there because it would be very unpleasant if she turned to the left, she would only find a sour face that was very unsightly. But he had no other choice because it was the only empty seat. Keysia smiled and nodded, she immediately walked over to the girl. Many smiled and greeted her when Keysia walked past their bench. One of them was a sweet man with a hairstyle similar to Dilan who greeted him. “Hi, greetings. I’m Zidane,” he said. “Hey, Zidane. Nice to meet you too,” Keysia replied briefly before she sat down. Some time after that, Miss. Hanum just received a call from someone, but then she said, “Kids, I have some business. Remember, you guys don’t fight.” Then the beautiful teacher left the class in a bit of a hurry. “Hi, introduce me, I’m Mayra,” the girl held out her hand. “Hi, Maya. I’m Keysia,” Keysia replied. “Here, sit next to me,” said Mayra while fixing her bag. Suddenly Mayra’s pen fell to the floor, rolled, then stopped under the desk of the eagle-eyed man who was right next to Keysia. “My Puplen fell,” shouted Mayra. “Let me get it.” Keysia offered to help. He immediately turned around to face the cold man. Kenan, his name is Kenan. Keysia could tell the name from the name tag she wore on her clothes. Intending to be friendly and polite, Keysia asked the owner of the table for permission first to take the pen. “Excuse me, I want to take the pen,” he said very politely to the man named Kenan. In keeping with the intense look in his eyes, he’s also very unsmiling. Let alone reply to Keysia’s words, don’t even smile. His only response was with his piercing gaze that stared intently at both of them from head to toe. Really, Keysia hates that kind of view. Not only because they are not friendly, but also managed to make him uncomfortable. Besides that, Kenan didn’t say a word to Keysia at all, he just kept quiet like a mute. The man remained unmoved, he just stared at Keysia sharply as if he wanted to swallow her whole. Keysia took a breath so as not to get carried away with emotions, in every class there would be someone like that, “Patience, Key. You’re still a new kid, you’ll see later I will repay you an ice man,” he grumbled in his heart. “That’s it, then I want to just take the pen, you please move a little,” said Keysia nonchalantly. The girl immediately crouched down to pick up the pink pen, her hand with difficulty went under the table to reach the pen, it became even more difficult because Kenan didn’t want to move at all, even though Keysia had made a little noise downstairs, but Kenan remained silent like a stone “Is he a human or stone?” Keysia thought. Only this time had he encountered a human who had no mercy at all. After trying their best, both finally managed to take the pen. When it seemed that Kesia’s necklace seemed to be hanging down, she was worried that her necklace would get caught on the table. Because for Keysia the necklace is the most valuable thing in this world besides her parents, to the point that Keysia’s right hand keeps holding the necklace. It turned out that from the beginning Kenan had always watched Keysia’s movements, especially when Keysia’s necklace dangled and she immediately grabbed the necklace. Suddenly Kenan’s sharp eyes rounded, he looked very surprised when he saw the necklace worn by Keysia. Not wanting to be careless, Kenan again watched carefully until he really felt sure of his hunch. Instantly Kenan’s whole body trembled violently, his hands clenched into perfect fists, his breath roared up and down irregularly. Anger was clearly visible in his eyes, Kenan looked more intently at Keysia. When Keysia stood up and was about to return to her chair with a pen in hand, suddenly Kenan stood up and held Keysia’s hand. “What is it?” Keysia asked, her face looked confused. “Where did you get that necklace from?” Kenan asked back while glaring, his hand gripped Keysia’s hand tighter, like a lion ready to pounce on its prey. “Necklace? You mean this necklace?” Keysia is holding a silver swan-shaped pendant that hangs from her necklace. “Yeah, where did you get that necklace from?” Kenan repeated his question, this time his voice was getting louder and the whole class turned to look at them. Kenan seems very angry. “This necklace from my father, since I was born this necklace was given to me by my father. So what’s the problem with you? Why do you look this angry?” Keysia did not want to lose, her voice also rose. “Lie! Don’t you dare lie to me, I know who the necklace belongs to. Because there is only one necklace like that in this world! And it’s not yours,” Kenan snapped. “Where is she? Where is the owner of the necklace? Answer!” Keysia doesn’t understand what Kenan is saying anymore, because the necklace she was wearing was given by her father since she was born. So the necklace is hers. At first Keysia thought maybe Kenan had misunderstood, and she intended to explain it well. But the longer Kenan’s grip tightened, his hands felt sore. This made Keysia very angry. “I don’t know who you really mean! But for sure, this necklace is mine. I also don’t know how many types of necklaces there are in this world and I don’t want to care. This is my necklace and has nothing to do with you. So, let go of my hand right now, “Keysia shouted half grimacing. “No, I won’t let you go until you tell the truth, where is the real owner of the necklace?” Kenan argued with his eyes bulging.
