“Are you okay?” Marco grunted from behind me while I remained squatting with my head lowered, trying to gauge my line of sight.
“What the f**k is that? You said everyone was checked out and none seemed like a crazy killer” I snapped
“They were all…I do not know how this is possible”
“You are losing my spark, my friend” I muttered grimly.
“We have to get you out of here” Marco stated instead.
“Get to Francesca… I have no idea where she is but I asked her to go as far away as she can. I want you to get her the f**k home and keep her there… I will be fine on my own” I told him.
“I cannot do that, I have a duty to protect…”
“You did not just disobey a f*****g direct order, Marco” I interrupted him.
