13 The Impenetrable Fortress
The forlorn young prisoners languished in their solitary prisons. The radiant glow of moonlight bathed the castle in an ethereal shroud of blue. Belakesh sentries patrolled the castle grounds,

“Where did Bartas say he was going?” Kaya asked.
“He went to recover Julius’ body with Rin. He also mentioned something about rallying help in a nearby town,” Lucas replied.
“Let’s just hope they get here soon. This is the wrong place to be without an exit strategy,” Maya said, examining the large structure. “The castle looks well-guarded, and the walls are massive. They must be at least sixty to seventy feet high,” she observed.
