His Rebellious Luna Snow

Chapter 5: Kia

After we all ate, my mate had a few meetings to go to, so I went to get a tour from my maid or how my mate put it my "slave". I cringe at that word. I followed Kia around as she showed me around. I smiled and nodded as she showed me her favorite spots when she is allowed free time and, from what I gather, she doesn't get much free time.

I stopped in her mid rant as she halted and looked down "I am sorry for rambling, Luna." her lips were quivering as if she was afraid of something. "Alpha" she bowed her head in submissive as her eyes teared up.

I turned towards my mate and smiled "Hello, I thought you were in a meeting?" I smiled and hugged him and pecked his lips. He seemed to have been caught off guard but smiled at me.

"Indeed I was, little one." he smirked at me. "I came to check on you and see how you have been. Was your slave talking too much? I can have her dealt with?"

I looked back at Kia and frowned as tears slipped down her cheeks. I turned and smiled up at my mate. "No, she has been a delight. I actually was about to ask her to tell me more, but I think she was frightened. I was mad at her. Also, her name is Kia and I adore her! She will be a good friend." I kissed his cheek and smiled. "Oh, I am off to do my workout. Care to join us?"

He stared at me and frowned "Us?"

"Yes Kia and I? I would hate to be alone and she needs to bulk up a bit."

"Slaves do not workout or train..." Lukas's hand halted his Betas words and smirked as he slowly put his hands down as his Beta stopped next to him and watched.

"Snow, why would you want her to go with you and do all that?" I couldn't read his facial expression at all as I watched to make sure he wasn't mad at what I said. He was stone cold serious.

I sighed "Look, I don't make friends easily with other women, but Kia is kind to me and sweet and my parents believe "slaves", "maids" and "servants" should learn to protect who they serve as well." I looked back at Kia and smiled "besides she has a good heart and I know how to read others, well my wolf does and she says I can trust her." I looked back at Lukas and smiled.

He nodded his head and smirked. "I am impressed that you think highly of her." He smirked and pointed at Kia and he moved his fingers beckoning her to come closer. "Kia, tell my mate why you are a slave?" I watched Kia as tears spilled down her face.

"Luna, I am a slave, because I tried to poison your mate.." I stood there as she fell to the ground in tears. "Please forgive me, I didn't know, I swear they told me it would keep him healthy and that it wouldn't hurt them...." She went to speak more but I stopped her by hugging her.

"Enough, I believe you." my eyes glowed white as I held her close to me. "I forgive you, we forgive you." My eyes stopped glowing and I stood and smiled at Lukas "I still want her to come, she is telling the truth and I still stick to what I said..." He tried to cut me off but i stopped him "Lukas, please trust me." I held his hand and smiled "I wont do it if you don't trust her or me."

He stared at me for awhile and finally sighed "Fine, but she's your responsibility."

I smiled and jumped into his arms. "Thank you, Thank you. I'll show you that not everyone is evil. I promise." I kissed his cheek and jumped down and grabbed Kia and we took off.

"SLOW DOWN SNOW OR YOU WILL GET HURT!" He screamed after us.

"Sir?" Darsen stepped forward and watched the girls run off giggling. "Can we trust Kia with the Luna?"

Lukas watched the girls as they kept running off giggling. When he couldn't see them anymore, he sighed and glanced at his Beta. "Maybe, maybe not. But if what she says is true when they question her, maybe she will spill it to Snow who gave it to her." Lucas smirked "I need to find out what she is hiding from us, Kia knows more than she is letting on." Lukas turned and and started to go the direction the girls went.

Darsen walked beside him as he stared ahead. "But what if Kia doesn't tell the Luna? What if she harms her on purpose?"

Lucas sighed, "Then she would wish she never met my Princess again. She will die a painful death if she harms my mate!" He growled out.

"Come on Kia, RUN!" Snow screamed at Kia as she watched her fall on the ground out of breath.

"Snow, I cant!" She fell on her knees as she tried to catch her breath as tears spilled down her cheek from the pain in her lungs and ribs.

Snow bent down and growled at Kia "Get up and run, cant shouldn't be coming out of your mouth!" She lifted Kia's chin up and smirked "Did you say the same thing when you poisoned my mate?"

Lucas and Darsen stopped when they heard what she said. Darsen went to step forward to stop Snow from harming Kia, but as he stepped, Lucas put his hand out and shook his head and Darsen paused and stepped back and watched.

"I didn't mean to, please I cant.." Kia teared up.

"Well, that is not good enough Kia, I need to know why..." She stood up and glared. "Please know this is for your own good, I hope you forgive me..." Snow turned and stared at Lucas as a tear slipped out and down her cheek.

Lucas watched as her eyes shifted to turquoise.

She turned to Kia and growled "KIA, AS YOUR LUNA, I ORDER YOU TO RUN TILL YOU TELL US THE TRUTH AND NOT STOP TILL I COMMAND IT OR TILL YOU SPEAK THE TRUTH!" Snow collapsed as Kia jerked up and screamed in pain as if she was trying to fight the command.

"Please, Snow, don't make me do this. I beg you!" Kia took off running as tears spilled down her cheek. She begged and begged Snow to release her, but Snow didn't budge.

Snow stood back up and put on a strict look as she watched her run. "Kia, all you have to do is be honest and ill release you!"

Kia screamed in pain as she broke "They will kill my parents if I tell you!" As she said that, she collapsed onto her knees.

Snow walked over to Kia and frowned. Snow turned and looked at Darsen. "Well pick her up and take her inside to Lucas's office, please." Snow looked at Kia as she watched her. A maid popped up with water, she stood and grabbed it and gave it to Kia. "Its time to speak the truth, my mother taught me that the truth will set you free." Darsen picked up Kia and carried her inside. He stopped as the door opened and looked at Lucas.

"You heard the Luna. You can take her into my office. You can set her on the couch."

He nodded and carried her into the house and up the stairs and into the Alphas office. Lucas went to the mini fridge and grabbed another water bottle and sat next to Kia and handed her the water.

Lucas went to his desk and sat down unbothered by the two in front of them.

Snow watched in curiosity and smirked "How long?" She c****d her head to the side as she smirked at them.

"How long, sorry Luna, I don't understand?" Darsen stared at her confused.

Lucas looked at her with just as much confusion.

Snow smirked "Oh please I know, mates, when I see them, so I ask again how long?"

Lucas growled "you are mates?"

Darsen sighed,"Yes, she is my mate, but until I know why Kia did what she did, I won't accept her.." He looked away with a guilty look.

Kia had tears streaming down her cheek. "Please, Snow, know I meant no harm..." She swallowed and looked up at her Luna. "I never wanted to do it, I got a letter in the mail...along with a box saying that if I didn't do what they say and put this in the liquid in Alphas drink I would never see my family again!"

"Who?" Lucas growled out.

I walked over to my mate and sat in his lap trying to calm him down and keep his wolf at bay.

Kia swallowed. "I have no idea, they didn't say. They said they had eyes and ears everywhere. Since then I don't know if my family is dead or alive!" She burst into tears. "I am so sorry, I truly am to all of you!"

We watched as she cried into Darsen's arms. He slowly wrapped his arms around her as the tears kept coming.

"We should let her rest and tomorrow we will speak some more about this." Lucas stood and nodded at his beta, he grabbed my hand and we left them there to talk some more, till tomorrow.
