The entire kingdom is kneeling down before me. Rion is on his knee bowing his head to me. My heart flutters as he looks up at me. The sheer amount of love and devotion in his eyes makes my heart ache. I reach my hand toward him, offering him to his feet. He smirks and stands, followed by everyone else, I can feel their eyes on me.
I don’t know what to say, but I can feel they want me to speak to them. I feel my clammy hands and wipe them on my dress before I clear my throat, “Although I am still new to this land and your customs.. I promise to do my best and be a fair and just ruler” I say clearly and with confidence.
Yazier is the first to speak. Stepping forward in the front of the crowd, he gets on his knee, “I pledge my life to serve and protect you my Queen”
