TenStephan stood waiting for the Kazat war chief to accept his plan. Ru'uk's painted white head was tilted as it eyed the vial with suspicion. The hesitation wore on Stephan's already frayed patience. He'd spent at least a half an hour walking the Kazat's foul tunnels before the youngling had brought him to the war chief.
