Raine's POV
I was now part of Desmond's pack. He initiated me last night right there in the office, and I fell asleep after the whole thing. I didn't even remember when he brought me back to his bedroom.
It felt so unreal. I never thought I would ever renounce my old pack without my parent's permission, and I'd never felt more free.
I opened my eyes to find myself alone on the bed.
Since I came to this pack, I'd always slept in his room. Desmond would not have it any other way, and honestly, I preferred it like this.
I sat up, holding the blanket over my chest, because I was naked. Judging from how my body felt, I knew that he cleaned me up last night. Poor lad.
