Raine's POV
I didn't wait for my father to come back before I moved. I didn't pack everything I own— just the important stuff. I didn't have a car of my own, so I decided to order a taxi, but luckily, Damson was on his way to his grandma's house. He decided to drop me off first before going.
"So... Is this like a visit? Or you're staying with this Alpha for good?" He asked, concern in his eyes.
"I don't think I'm coming back." I answered truthfully.
"Hmm. Do you have a plan B in case things don't work out with him? You know, you might find out that you are not compatible, and you might want to move again. Will you have somewhere to stay? Money of your own? Work?"
He was asking all the right questions, and I was almost too embarrassed to answer. "I plan on starting up a business."
