Climbing into bed, I welcomed the warm sheets. Today had been such a nightmare! But being sure tomorrow wouldn't be
'Come on Alexander, Please?!'' She begged and begged, It was starting to really grate on my nerves and wear thin. Sitting down at my desk across from her, I let out a loud sigh. ''Please, Please, Pleaseeee?!''
''Parker, Enough,'' I yelled, Startling her a little bit. Guilt instantly struck me the second I saw a flash of fear run over her features. My frown was replaced with a sympathetic smile and I called her over to sit on my lap. ''Come here''. She did immediately and I picked her up, Placing her on my knee.
''I'm sorry, I don't mean to anger you''. I rolled my eyes playfully at her when she pouted. Damn this girl knows how to work my heartstrings.
''What have you been told about going into the human realm without me or your brothers?'' I asked, Resting my elbow on the desk in front of me, supporting my chin on my fist.
''I was bored in the castle, I wanted to go out!''.
''Well, I could always call father and send you home, If my castle is too boring for you?'' She shook her head quickly at my threat, Panicking. Once again, I felt bad, but She needs to learn that her behaviour today was unacceptable. ''If you wanted to go out, You should have just asked. But no, Instead you broke the rules''.
''No, Please, I'm sorry! Don't send me back, Don't even tell him! I won't do it again''.
''Fine.'' I sighed, defeated, Although, I wasn't really protesting my case that hard. ''Tell me about this female human then?''
This was the only reason Parker had come to find me, Instead of just running to her room when she had come home. Normally, She would never bring to my attention that she had knowingly broken the rules and left the realm alone, But apparently, On her travels, She had met something that she just had to tell me about.
''Oooo, She is beautiful! Her hair is so long and soft, and her eyes are like marbles.'' I raised my eyebrows at her description. Marbles? ''She is only 17 too. So young and already so pretty''.
''Sounds like you know a lot about her. Did you talk to her?''
''Yes.''
''Why?!'' My annoyance started to spike again. So, Not only did she break the most important rule I have, She also broke the second most important rule. No, This can't stand!
''She was sat all alone, I didn't tell her anything-''
''That isn't the point Parker! Do you know how dangerous it is out there, How unsafe it is for someone like us, For someone like you?!''
I picked her up off of my lap and set her on her feet again, Waving her away.
''You must NEVER talk to a human,'' I yelled at her, Not at all caring that tears had begun to sting her eyes. She needed to learn! ''Get out of my sight. Now!''.
She didn't move an inch, Instead, She just looked up at me, Arms folded protectively across her chest. Her bottom lip was quivering. I couldn't look at her anymore, I didn't want to. ''Fang?!'' Within seconds, My younger brother was stood in the doorway.
''What's wrong?'' He asked.
''Take Parker to get something to eat, and keep her out of my sight!'' I waved them off again and turned around in my chair until I was sure they had left. I could hear Park crying as she ran out the room, Seconds later, the door slammed shut.
I'll deal with that mess a little later. Right now, I had to go and find that human filth and deal with her. God knows what Parker has said to her.
I walked over to my door, Grabbing my leather jacket off the coat rack on the way out the room.
''Cinders?!'' I roared loudly. It only took mere seconds for her to appear around the corner as she headed towards me, Looking a little flushed.
''I'm here Master.'' I grabbed hold of her arm roughly and pulled her to me, Ignoring her sudden gasp of surprise.
''I'm going out. I have something I need to address, However, I need some stress relief, Be in chambers for when I get back''. I ordered and let her go with a small shove. I was about to turn and leave when;
''But, I-''
''Excuse me?!'' How dare she even open her mouth to protest. Turning back around to look at her, I stormed back to where she stood.
''I'm sorry, Of course, I will be waiting for you.'' She started trying to correct the situation, but too little too late. She realised her mistake and lowered her head.
''Be naked and on the bed''. It was far from a request, but she nodded regardless. ''Good, You will have tomorrow morning off, Get someone to cover your duties. I think you'll be rather tired and sure when I'm finished with you tonight''. She nodded quickly once again, But now, The smell of fear filled the air.
Breathing in deeply, Taking in the amazing aroma, I grinned.
With nothing more than a click of my fingers, I was gone.
