"Have you lost your mind?!" The vampire king gripped Zelda's collar, lifting her off the ground. "How dare you kill your mother?" He whispered in disbelief, shaking his head. He wanted to give her a beating, but the late queen had warned him to never hit their kids unless it was during an organised fight.
Zelda rolled her eyes with a wicked grin on her lips, "Oh don't be pathetic, father. When you sent me to stop her and bring little Leo back, did you expect me to leave her alive?" She scoffed.
"That was your mother!" The vampire king's eyes widened in fear of his own child and he gradually let her go, noting that the deed was already done.
"Mother or not, she tried to take away my precious little Leo." Zelda's gaze hardened, "And she would have tried once more if I didn't end her life.
