Zelda nodded, wiping the tears away from her eyelids with one hand. "It all makes sense now," she confessed. "The father who my mother had urged me to find, the one she said would be waiting for me across the ocean... it was you." She shook her head incredulously, a bittersweet smile playing on her lips.
Felix's grip on Zelda tightened as the realization hit him. He had spent decades searching for his sister before falling into darkness, he'd been so obsessed about her whereabouts that the thought of having impregnated his sister so many years ago didn't strike him as a possibility. 'How careless.'
