Nightfall had come and the moonlight glinted off the surface of rooftops. Laura used a towel to dry her wet hair after washing up, her movements slow and deliberate as she slipped into a nightie laid out on the bed. The king-sized bed, large enough to fit over three people, seemed even more expansive in the dim light. Laura assumed the bed was made in case Logan spent the night with more than one woman—it was his room, after all, much larger than the one she’d stayed in with Leonardo.
