“Oh that’s it…you’re driving me crazy,” Zelda’s low, sultry voice was the first thing Nicholas heard when he opened his eyes to a dark cave. The dim glow of the moonlight lit up the entrance of the cave some distance away from him as his eyes struggled to adjust to the darkness. Dragons weren’t the most nocturnal creatures and their night vision wasn’t as sharp as those of vampires and werewolves. He turned and tossed on the cold, stone floor, taking in the damp smell of earth which served as proof of his existence—he was still alive.
