I hate having to be away from her while she’s in pain. Especially because it’s Myles that she’s with. I should be the one there with her, but there was no way I could reschedule this meeting. Myles was supposed to be here too, but he said it would be better for one of us to be there with Beatrice. It ended up being Myles that won, and me here stuck at the meeting.
It was good information, but I already knew that Henry was considered a pillar of the community, so I wanted to interview the family if they could let me know anyone that might want to frame him for the murder. Of course there was nothing they could think of, so in the end it was a worthless meeting.
