I ended up going to the party like I promised Penny and Yasmin. They were excited that I actually got ready and put on makeup and did my hair. It was a little therapeutic as well, so I was glad I ended up doing it too. But I wasn’t glad I went to the party itself. It was so loud, and there were so many people. I could tell they were looking at me.
Maybe I was just imagining it, but I really did hear a few people whisper about me being sad about Myles. Some people didn’t even give me a second look, and those were the ones I wished everyone was like. Yasmin handed me a drink, but I shook my head, and just told her I wanted to find Alex.
