Jay who had fallen half-asleep after a bottle of beer with the TV still on woke up to the ringing of his phone. “Hello?” He stifled a yawn as he answered. “Hey, man! What kind of a tone is that? You asleep?” Chris's loud voice came through. “f**k, stop shouting. I can hear you just fine.” Chris gave a short laugh. “It’s the company’s anniversary, don’t tell me you’re still holed up in your room?” “What’s the anniversary gotta do with me? I prefer my beer.” “Come out and I’ll give you lots of beers. We, the cleaning will have a celebration of our own at the company’s expense.” Jay stilled. It’s been a long time since he’s been in the presence of others. Even though he’s not much closer to the others, Chris was there. Moreover, he will not come to the Stavros building. “Where to?”
